Cadence
A cadence is the planned rhythm and timing of follow-up touches with a lead or customer, across channels like calls, texts, and emails. It defines how often and through which channels you reach out, so follow-up stays consistent without becoming annoying.
A cadence is the schedule behind good follow-up. For example: call on day one, text on day two, email on day four, and a final check-in on day seven. It spells out the when and how so nothing is left to memory.
The right cadence balances persistence with restraint. Too little and leads go cold; too much and you become a nuisance. A thoughtful, multi-channel cadence keeps you present at the moments that matter and stops when the lead responds or clearly opts out.
