Warm lead
A warm lead is a potential customer who has already shown some interest in your business, such as by visiting your site, requesting info, or being referred. Warm leads are easier to convert than cold prospects because a relationship and some trust already exist.
A warm lead has raised their hand in some way: filled out a form, called with a question, or came through a referral. That prior interest makes them far more receptive than a cold contact who has never heard of you.
Because warmth signals real intent, warm leads deserve fast, personal follow-up. They are the most valuable prospects in your pipeline, and responding to them quickly, before the interest cools, is one of the surest ways to win more business.
